Eligibility Criteria

Admission eligibility for this course is passing of 12th standard examination of Maharashtra Higher Secondary School Board (H.S.C.) or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology) subjects.
Admissions are centrally carried out through a Common Entrance Test, NEET (National Eligibility & Entrance Test). Admission to course is on the basis of merit; according to the results of the NEET examination

Candidate to pass 12th with PCB(Physics,Chemistry & Biology) and NEET

DMER will put up list of selected candidates for all colleges

Student will complete college application form and pay course fee after scrutiny of documents, for admission

Further admission procedure as per NEET brochure

For Institutional Quota (Including NRI & OMS)

Institute will publish advertisement in the newspaper & invite applications

Interested candidates will collect the application form by paying requisite form fee

Submission of dully filled up Application form along with required documents. For NRI applicants,scrutiny certificate from DMER / ARA is mandatory

Admission Commmittee will scrutinize the documents thoroughly as per the norms.(First preference will be given to NRI candidates)

Eligible candidates will be selected based on their merit and final list will be displayed on College notice board as well as on College website.Selected candidates will be given admission

Important Instructions

  • Institute reserves the right to reschedule dates.
  • For DMER CAP round and Institutional quota admissions, fees to be paid at the time of admission.
  • For DMER CAP round students, fees are payable by A/c payee Demand Draft drawn in favor of K.J. Somaiya College of Physiotherapy, payable at Mumbai.
  • For Institutional quota students, fees are payable by A/c payee Demand Draft drawn in favor of K.J. Somaiya College of Physiotherapy, payable at Mumbai.
  • Fees for consecutive academic year to be paid before the commencement of classes for that year.
  • Disclaimer : K.J.Somaiya College of Physiotherapy does not have any agents, representatives, liason/admission offices other than the institute’s office at Sion, Mumbai. Candidates are requested not to depend upon or deal with any person or organisation/s claiming to be associated with the institute’s activities or claiming to help with admission.   • Gap Certificate (if applicable)

  • Aadhar Card (Attested photocopy)

  • For Jain/Muslim/Christian Category - School Leaving Certificate, Certificate from religious place & Affidavit
  • For Gujarati/Sindhi minority - School Leaving Certificate & Affidavit
  • For Hindi Linguistic minority - School Leaving Certificate & Affidavit

Additional Documents For NRI Students

To prove the NRI status of the claimant/sponsor, following documents are required to be submitted

  • Affidavit of claimant/sponsor disclosing his/her full identity i.e. full name, age, residence, occupation, relationship with candidate, etc duly signed by the sponsor (marked as Annexure-D)

  • Sponsors valid Passport & VISA    

  •     Certificate of  Embassy stating NRI status of the Sponsor OR

  •      Proof of residence showing minimum continuous 182 days stay of claimant NRI in  abroad for the Academic Year of admission, prior to the admission date, and / OR

  •     Proof of residence i.e. Telephone bill/ Property Tax copy/ Electricity Bill/ Rent Receipt/ Lease Agreement etc. of last 6 months (with full name and address of sponsor) 

If the Sponsor / Student is Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and his/her Nationality belongs to foreign country, in such cases the following documents are to be submitted by the concerned Sponsor / Student

 

  •      Sponsor/student valid passport & O.C.I. card
  • Sponsor/Students original affidavit in prescribed format (marked as Annexure-D)  

  •   Original Affidavit of the Mother/Father of the students in prescribed format (marked as Annexure-D)                

  • To prove the relation between sponsor and candidate, the following documents of the claimant/students are require to be submitted

  •  Affidavit of claimant disclosing his/her full identity i.e. full name, age, residence,  Occupation, relationship with sponsor along family tree duly signed by the candidate/student or his/her parents in prescribed format (marked as Annexure-E)

  • Leaving Certificate/Birth Extracts/Mark sheet PAN card/Passport/Marriage Certificate     etc. of concerned relative members shown on the family chart/tree.

  • Copy of Foreign Bank Account Passbook with copies of main page indicating bank name and address, sponsor’s name and address with entries of the last 6 months prior to admission.
